It would be nice if you could add a find a quick key find/replace feature for the the topic/post you are currently working on. I find myself copying my message into a notepad and using ctrl+h to find replace center things for that particular message.

This feature would not be the same as the replacements in forums.

If you use themaLeecher for managing messages it's now (from 2.00) available there. You can select multiple messages and above the messages list there is "Apply custom replacements" button.

it would be good to be able to search and replace in editor fields (Topics, Templates, Post list). Simple search would be enough for most cases, regex would be king of the hill

I still have situations where I copy my post to a text editor to have certain parts replaced and then copy it back to TP; if I could work on these tasks in TP it would be another time saver.

hmm... you can already do this I think.

Right click -> "Replace" or just CTRL+H (when field / area is in focus).

You can select some text before clicking on that and it will be pre-filled in "search for" field.

Regex is also supported there.

Oh, I did read the FAQ again to look if I had overseen something - I only found a small hint there to check the shortcuts overview in TP itself and even found some I didn't even dreamed of ... that actually solves my problem stated here.

Maybe will describe my approach there later for others to be inspiring ;-)
