Hi Freddy,

how about a plugin interface in the Thema tool suite? That way users could write and integrate their own little solutions to everyday problems.

You know I coded a lot around the Thema suite for myself but it would be really cool being able to integrate those solutions. Think about the opportunities for both sides: you could even create a plugin store and if a user is asking a fee for his plugin you could earn a fraction of this fee. You could still control the project and would be able to boost development powers.

This idea hit me when I saw Python has also a Java implementation, Jython. Since Python is a very powerful and easy to learn language with neat documentation I decided to learn it when I saw my "old school scripting" wasn't as powerful and maintainable as I needed it to be. I guess this would be a good choice for an interface. Of course, there are other possible solutions like groovy but I doubt it will aid development much since user base is smaller and the language seems aimed more at Java veterans.
