Make sure to enter correct prefix id in the prefixes configuration for each forum. See the FAQ for details how to do that.

This is not the right prefix.

There should be <option> tag located somewhere elsewhere in HTML code.

I will obviously need URL to take a look.

Hi,

If you're using auto directory posting the in "CONFIG" -> "Directory posting" -> "Default tag for directory posting".

If you just writing message in program ("TOPICS" / "TEMPLATES" tab) just choose the prefix and press "Save" button at the bottom (near the "Reply / Create" button).

How to add a prefix with a hyphen?

Trying to add a prefix to the D-xx A-xtr , Querty-xxx etc.. Subject assumed without the prefix. The prefix "abcxyz," adds correctly.

What's the problem exactly? Should be fine.

Make sure you have correct prefix tag and enabled to use the prefix in subject for that forum if it's not forum itself prefix (no IDs).

You have wrong prefix ID.

Here is that prefix from website itself:
Code:
<option value="XArt_com" class="">X-Art.com</option>

Correct prefix ID is the value attribute, it's:
Code:
XArt_com

There is no hyphen at all.

It's just in different place for xenForo.

Open source code (HTML) and search for "prefix" and you would find it.

I can't register (they're not sending the confirmation email) so I can't take a look for you.
