Freddy wrote: In this page: http://www.intporn.org/forums/hd-videos/create-thread In HTML source you can find this: Code: <span class="HiddenInput" data-name="content_data[node_id]" data-value="7"></span> So forum is 7 Will try to integrate it into templates finder as well. Edit: will fine in templates finder from 2.40. thanks freddy! |

Hi, all topics have topic IDs. It's probably SMF type forum you're talking about. If it's SMF type you can open HTML source and search for "topic" (with quotes). You will find line like this: Code: <input type="hidden" name="topic" value="123456" /> I'm planning to make it easier from program to find it automatically for SMF type in some update. Also you missed the topic at the top where this is mentioned like 100 times: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=447 |

Post subject: | Re: Problem with forum id |
Hi, you could: * Use "Templates finder", it finds all forum IDs automatically and then just use needed ID when adding topic. or * Go to sub-forum where that topic is posted and click on "New topic" button. The ID will be in URL. |

Post subject: | Re: [forumwizard.net] Topic ID. |
You just click on "Show last post" that's why you have that URL. If you clicked on topic title (from sub-forum) you would have normal URL. For VB in that case you can just click on "Thread tools" -> "Show printable version". You would see this URL: http://www.forumwizard.net/printthread.php?t=3469994 Your topic ID is 3469994 |

Post subject: | Re: Topic ID |
Hi, just go to the topic and you should see it in the URL. You can also try to click "New Replay" button (it might be seen then in URL) and you also can just enter topic URL (even without ID) for some types and the program will find it automatically. |
