Hi,
if use same template for vbulletin forum and also datalife blog,

if I use the divider to separate "short article" ---- "complete article" in DataLife, and send article, in vbulletin forum also appears "short article + complete article" in the same post , there is no way that in the "short article" does not appear on vbulletin?

Thanks

Hi,

there is no such thing as "Short article" in forums.

The separator is completely removed for forums.

It seems like you have wrong format of message and just want to use the separator as splitter, you can enable that for blog in "Other settings" as mentioned in the FAQ: http://poster.freddy.lt/faq.php?expand=faq404

You don't need to repeat "short article" in "complete article". If option to use as splitter is not enabled the program already does that automatically.

If use same template for datalife and forum, datalife work fine, but all forum vb, phpbb etc.. NOT work and NOT remove short article.

Example: my source code

Code:

short description...

[b]Full article description[/b]

Result on vbulletin forums: show all article: short article + full article (double cover etc)

How to remove ALL SHORT ARTICLE source code before separator?

"If option to use as splitter is not enabled" this option exist only on DLE Blog, NOT for forum VB

You could remove it with simple replacement. Add it to needed forums:

Search for:
Code:
(?s).+?-----\s*

Replace with:
Code:
(leave empty)

Enable regex search.

You can add to one and later just use "Copy replacement to other forums" button below.

Or just don't add the cover to full description and don't use the "split" option for DLE. Short description will be repeated in full description (with screenshot) and short details (don't really see a big problem having them there).

Search for:
Code:
(?s).+?@@@@@\s*
